Thinkfinity in Washington

The Educational Technology Development Center, in collaboration with the ETSC Program and supported by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, is the Thinkfinity State Education Partner in Washington.

Verizon Foundation's flagship education program, MarcoPolo, and the Verizon Literacy Network have merged to become the Foundation's signature digital learning platform, Thinkfinity.org.

ETDC is a Thinkfinity Rollout Partner Organization that provides the local infrastructure to share the program throughout Washington State. The Verizon-Thinkfinity Program (http://www.thinkfinity.org) offers high-quality Internet resources across the disciplines designed to integrate into the curriculum. ETDC and Thinkfinity have agreed to work together to deliver Thinkfinity training to educators in Washington. Visit the Washington Thinkfinity site where you can find Thinkfinity resources aligned to Washington State standards.

Thinkfinity.org is the Verizon Foundation’s free, comprehensive program and online portal to 55,000 educational resources, including lesson plans for teachers and interactive tools and materials for students in grades K-12, provided in partnership with many of the nation’s leading educational and literacy organizations.

The Thinkfinity partner web sites offer resources across all grade levels and multiple curriculum areas: Arts, Economics, Humanities, Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts, Science and Geography.

For additional information about Thinkfinity or training opportunities, contact your Regional ETSC Director or Anne Anderson at aanderson@psesd.org or by phone at 425.917.7939.
