What is Element K?
Element K.com is a web delivered, online learning service,
accessed over the Internet. Subscribing to Element K gives you access
to a library of courses for a year. A library is simply a collection of
courses that help you to achieve a goal. For instance, the Office
Productivity Library has several online courses to help you learn
common software to increase your productivity. Courses on Microsoft Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker and more are included in this
library. Another popular collection is the Design and Media Library,
which includes online courses on using desktop publishing and web publishing
software. You can begin with any course in your library that you want
and take them in the order you wish. The great thing is that you can take
an unlimited number of courses in that library during your subscription
year! These online courses cover the vast majority of computer skills
and competencies needed by educators. There are over 800 courses comprising
nearly 6,000 hours of online training.
