The Educational Technology Support Centers in the State of Washington are now offering self-paced, online technology courses. Clock hours are available for some of these courses. Learn to use your favorite word processor, database, spreadsheet application, and graphics program. Learn to create and publish web pages, use desktop publishing software, and more . . . All at your own pace, at your convenience, and in the comfort of your home! Which ESDs are Offering Element K Courses for Clock Hours? These ESDs are offering Element K courses for clock hours: PSESD (Burien), ESD 113 (Olympia), ESD 101 (Spokane), North Central ESD 171 (Wenatchee), and Northwest ESD 189 (Anacortes). To view a database of offered courses by ESD, Click Here. (1) You must have a current subscription to an Element K library containing your chosen course. If you do not, Click Here. (2) Register at the ESD by clicking on the appropriate link in the map below and following that ESD's registration procedure:
(3) Upon completion of the course, print out a completion certificate listing all the lessons completed. (4) Mail in the completion certificate with the clock hours application. Depending on your ESD, the procedure will be to either send the payment for clock hours at the time of registration, or at the time of completion. Some Important Reminders:
