Thinkfinity.org
is the cornerstone of Verizon Foundation's literacy,
education and technology initiatives. This free, comprehensive
digital learning platform is built upon the merger of
two acclaimed programs Verizon MarcoPolo and the Thinkfinity
Literacy Network.

In partnership with OSPI, the Educational Technology Support
Center (ETSC) Program at the nine Educational Service
Districts (ESDs), and the Educational Technology Development
Center (ETDC) will be launching the Thinkfinity professional
development program starting this September 2008. Funding
from the Verizon Foundation will help Washington establish
a statewide network of Certified Trainers and Field Trainers
to train all Washington educators on Thinkfinity resources
and integrate Thinkfinity training with other statewide
initiatives. It will also make standards-aligned
Thinkfinity resources available for educators through
the main Washington website at http://www.thinkfinity.wednet.edu.
